• Oct. 23: Last day to register for this election.
• Oct. 31: Last day for county election officials to receive requests for an absentee ballot to be mailed to you.
• Nov. 7: Election Day. Polls are open from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. Absentee ballot must be received by 8 p.m.

• Call your local county elections office and request a form.
• Fill out a voter registration card online (a pre-typed registration form will then be mailed to you).
• Call the toll-free voter registration hotline at (800) 345-VOTE and ask for a form.

Use the application printed on your sample ballot or apply in writing with your signature to your county elections office. You must submit a completed application to your county elections office by 5 p.m. Oct. 31.
